These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Genie’s Website. Genie is located at:

By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use Genie's website if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and any or all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting Genie's terms and conditions. “Genie”, “Genies”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to Genie. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of the provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Malaysia. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Products

Products shown on our website might vary in terms of color due to brightness and photo editing. As all of our products are handmade, all the information such as its size, weight, measurement, dimension and capacity indicated on our site has a 5% tolerance.

All products shown on Genie’s website are subject to availability. Genie reserves the right to amend, cancel or reject your order in whole or in part as we will also inform you (by email) as soon as possible if the product you have ordered is out of stock.

Order Policy

While placing your order, kindly provide the receiver’s delivery address and contact number accurately as we will not be held responsible for items that are not delivered due to incorrect details.

Any changes to your order (Eg: receiver’s address, messages, etc) shall be made within 12 hours in advance or 1 day before your delivery date. Please inform us by dropping us an email at genieevents.my@gmail.com to do so. You may contact us directly via whatsapp / phone call if you have any last-minute changes and we will try our best to comply with your request(s).

Cancellation of orders will be subject to 15% handling/processing fee.

Delivery

Genie only delivers within Kuala Lumpur and selected areas in Selangor at this moment.

Our deliveries are available from every Tuesday to Sunday. Customers are required to select their preferred time slot according to the selection available at the check out page.

Our items are usually delivered by appointed third party delivery partner, during the transition responsibility will be leave to between our delivery partner and the customer.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that there is a receiver to receive the products between the chosen time slot for delivery, as our delivery partner’s waiting time upon arrival will only be 15 minutes.

Charges will apply for any re-delivery of order.

There is no guarantee on the delivery to be on time due to adverse weather condition (heavy rain or flood). Therefore, there will be no refund policies or re-delivery offer if such an event occurred.

** Additional note for delivery during MCO period:

Door-to-door service may not be available due to strict regulations of guarded residential areas.

Hence, our rider will usually inform the receiver and place the product at the safest place as possible for receiver to retrieve it. We will not hold any responsibility of any missing/damaged item after the delivery is completed.

Product Life Span & Storage

[ONLY APPLICABLE FOR HELIUM BALLOONS]

All our helium balloons’ life span varies from its type. They can last at least a SIX (6) hours from time of preparation, please refer to this post for more information about helium balloons’ durability.

It is the receiver’s responsibility to ensure that the balloons are kept indoor, recommended to be air-conditioned, and not exposed to direct sunlight to avoid balloon explosion or shrinking.

Upon receiver’s acceptance of the products, we will not be responsible for the balloons’ condition kept and stored by receiver.

Prices

All prices are exclusive of delivery charges unless otherwise stated. Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.
We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
